Remote weather stations

Solar powered weather stations installed by the AW Landscape Board, APY Land Management and Oak Valley Rangers provide hourly readings across the Alinytjara Wiluṟara Region.

These provide critical information to remote communities that allows them to prepare for intense weather events and record changes to the climate over time.

This information is also key to planning and implementing land management activities.
